Plant Technicians Complete Training at Terronera
The Process Plant Technician team for the Terronera project successfully completed their theoretical training course. During an emotional closing ceremony, their effort, dedication, and commitment were highlighted. Participants received certificates recognizing their individual achievements and certifying their skills.
This course marked a significant milestone, with the participation of 39 individuals: 17 workers from outside the region, 18 from the Santiago de Pinos community, 1 from Los Reyes, and 2 from San Felipe de Hijar. A total of 21 participants came from the Terronera project’s area of influence, joining the program with no prior experience or knowledge of mining. This initiative establishes a precedent for integrating and developing local talent within the project. It underscores Terronera’s commitment to social development and the creation of opportunities that directly benefit nearby communities.
The training program was designed to enhance the technical competencies of the team over three months, blending theoretical and practical knowledge to prepare them for the challenges of plant operations. This training not only boosts their professional performance but also reinforces the project’s values of inclusion and social responsibility.
As we move forward, the impact of this training will be reflected in the continuous improvement of processes and the quality of work, laying a foundation for future successes and sustainable growth.
Congratulations to all the Process Plant Technicians! This achievement marks an important step for you, the community, and the Terronera project.
