While still early days, the Terronera Project is already generating significant socio-economic benefits for the community of Santiago de Pinos and other communities in the Municipality of San Sebastian del Oeste and will continue to do so for years to come.

The community of Santiago de Pinos has experienced three generations of labor migration from its children and grandchildren. Despite the distance, migrant workers continue to be part of the town. A group of young people from the community presented Terronera with the project of making a video about what Santiago de Pinos is like today, its landscapes, and customs, to share it with relatives in the USA. Terronera got involved in this initiative to support social cohesion and maintain community identity despite the distances.

This video is in Spanish, as it is tailored for the local communities.
