Terronera strengthens community ties through a day of celebration and environmental awareness

In celebration of Children’s Day, Terronera, in partnership with the Municipal DIF System, organized a day of fun and educational activities across several communities in the municipality of San Sebastián del Oeste. The participating communities included Los Reyes, Santiago de Pinos, La Estancia de Landeros, San Sebastián del Oeste, La Haciendita de San Isidro, and El Pueblito de San Pablo.

During this meaningful event, children enjoyed piñatas, cake, candy, and interactive games that fostered joy, social interaction, and a sense of belonging in a festive and safe environment. The celebration also featured “Terronero,” the company’s mascot designed by a community member, who helped convey important messages about environmental stewardship and respect for nature in an engaging and age-appropriate way for the youngest members of the community.

This initiative reaffirms Mina Terronera’s commitment to the social development and well-being of neighboring communities, especially children, who represent the foundation of a fairer, more sustainable, and compassionate future. Supporting their growth and education is an investment in tomorrow.
