Partnerships That Change Lives

As part of its ongoing commitment to the well-being of neighboring communities, Endeavour Silver, through its Terronera mine, continues to strengthen its collaboration with the Municipal DIF System of San Sebastián del Oeste through initiatives focused on improving the quality of life of local families.

Among the programs that continue to receive support is the Santiago de Pinos Learning and Recreation Center (Ludoteca), a community space created to encourage learning, creativity, and positive social interaction among children. Through this partnership, support remains in place to fund the center’s coordinator, ensuring the continuity of educational and recreational activities that contribute to children’s overall development.

The collaboration with Municipal Civil Protection also remains an important part of this partnership, particularly during wildfire season. When circumstances require, Endeavour Silver supports emergency response efforts by providing water trucks, essential supplies, and trained personnel, helping strengthen local response capabilities while contributing to the protection of natural resources and community safety.

New initiatives incorporated into the agreement with DIF include the introduction of psychological counseling services for residents of Santiago de Pinos. Through this program, a licensed psychologist will visit the community once a week to provide guidance and support to those who need it, promoting the mental and emotional well-being of children, youth, and adults alike.

The partnership also expands access to physical rehabilitation services. Since early 2025, a Terronera employee has been traveling to local communities to provide physical therapy to residents in need. Under the new agreement, this support will be enhanced through the addition of a physiotherapist permanently assigned to the Basic Rehabilitation Unit (UBR) in San Sebastián del Oeste, allowing for more consistent, specialized care and expanding access to a greater number of beneficiaries.

These initiatives reflect the value of collaboration between industry, public institutions, and communities in creating opportunities that strengthen social well-being, enhance essential services, and improve the quality of life of families throughout the region.
