Inspiring Stories from Terronera: Judith López Contreras, Commitment and Attitude in Action
At the Terronera project, currently in the wet commissioning stage, we are witnessing stories that reflect the dedication, learning, and commitment that drive our team forward. Today, we’re proud to share the story of Judith López Contreras, a young woman from Santiago de los Pinos, whose remarkable professional growth in just a few months demonstrates what’s possible when talent meets the right attitude.
Judith joined our team on July 15, 2024, as a Plant Technician Trainee through our Plant Technician Training Program. Although she had no prior experience in this area, she approached the challenge with enthusiasm and determination. Throughout the program, Judith not only gained the technical knowledge required, but today she confidently masters key production processes within the processing plant.
But her impact goes far beyond technical skills. Judith has become a key member of the Terronera team thanks to her positive attitude, constant energy, and strong sense of collaboration. She is an active member of the rescue brigade and the joint health and safety committee, and she also operates heavy equipment such as the front-end loader and forklift a testament to her versatility and commitment to supporting wherever needed.
At this crucial stage of wet commissioning the Terronera project, stories like Judith’s serve as powerful reminders that our greatest asset is our people. Her personal and professional growth reflects our deep commitment to developing local talent and building a strong, capable team prepared to operate a modern, efficient, and safe mine.
Judith López Contreras is a living example of how attitude, dedication, and opportunity can turn potential into meaningful results. At Endeavour Silver, we are proud to work alongside people like Judith, individuals who inspire and lead by example from day one.
